Brief Biography
Stephanie Benjamin, Ph.D., M.P.H. is an Associate Professor in the Health Sciences Department at California State University, Northridge. She earned her Ph.D. and M.P.H. in epidemiology from Tulane University and her B.A. in biological basis of behavior from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to this position, Dr. Benjamin worked as an epidemiologist in the Division of Diabetes Translation at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and at the Council for State and Territorial Epidemiologists. Her research interests include diabetes, obesity and college health.
