Brief Biography
Hi All! I am a proud Matador who graduated from CSUN with a B.A and M.A in English Literature. Since 2011, I have had the good fortune of working with CSUN as a Writing Tutor, SI leader, TA and presently as a Lecturer. In addition to teaching at CSUN, I have worked with other colleges within the L.A and Ventura counties. Currently, I am an Associate Director of Language Arts for a private school in the Bay Area. My essay "The Voices of the Bhagavad Gita and Upanishad in T.S Eliot's The Waste Land” was featured in The International Journal of Language and Literature. When I am not teaching, I'm either traveling or enjoying a good book with a cup of tea in hand. My primary teaching objective is to help students see the connections between what they learn inside of the classroom with what they do outside of the classroom.
