Hailed the “New Einstein” by her fans, and named the “Modern Day Hidden Figure” by People Magazine and Newsweek, Olympia LePoint is a former NASA rocket scientist, award-winning author and TED speaker of the talk “Reprogramming Your Brain to Overcome Fear.” LePoint helped launch 28 NASA Space Shuttle missions into space. Today, LePoint’s Mission Control Room desk is a science exhibit at the California Science Center in Los Angeles. In her youth, Olympia LePoint overcame severe poverty, childhood trauma, plus failing math scores by reprogramming her mind, which led her to graduate Top 5 from a 6,500 graduating class with degrees in Mathematics.
Featured in major news and media, LePoint has been seen by over 28 million viewers for her appearances as a guest science and technology news expert. She is a expert with STEM and governmental policy pertaining to safe Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and the civil rights for women and people of color. She is seen on ‘The Doctors’ in her TED Talk, on NBC News, CBS News, KTLA Morning News, Cheddar News, Amazon Prime TV, ABC News, PBS, MSNBC, FOX News, and on Impact Theory. She has written the award-winning Answers Unleashed® educational science book series, which won the 2023 IRWIN Award at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books.
