Brief Biography
Matthew Daigle is a Deaf & partially sighted adjunct professor in Deaf Studies. Since 2017, he has taught ASL 3 & 4, Numbers and Deaf 300. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota in 1999. He worked for many years as an artist, cartoonist, and graphic designer. He is the creator of two humor books, “In Deaf Culture…” and “Extreme Interpreting.” Additionally, he is the co-author of the popular webcomic, “That Deaf Guy” which is based on his real-life experiences with his hearing wife and CODA son. He graduated from Gallaudet University with a Masters in Sign Language Education in 2019. Besides spending time with his family, drinking coffee and doing creative art projects are his most favorite things to do.
