Brief Biography
My background is in hydrology, fluvial geomorphology, remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS), Unmanned Aerial Systems (AKA Drones), habitat protection, and now artificial intelligence and deep learning in GIS. I work full-time as a District Environmental Scientist with California Department of Parks & Recreation where I manage 9 parks that consist of wildlife, vegetation, and land management.
My students develop real-world skill sets that align them for success in their careers. I create a safe space for my students to learn, respect one another, and build confidence within themselves.
Small hobbies include: hiking, traveling, kickboxing, rock climbing, yoga, meditation, reading, music and food festival, and hanging out with my family and friends.
My favorite animal is an octopus.
