Brief Biography
Loretta Huizar received her B.A. and M.A. from California State University, Northridge and is a PhD candidate at University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. She teaches Creative Writing, First Year Comp, Business Writing, and other courses at CSUN and has worked as a writing tutor for over 10 years for both undergraduate and graduate students. Her research areas include Disability Studies, Experimental Fiction, Women Writing Magical Realism and Fabulism, and Narratology.
