Brief Biography
Kelly began teaching at CSU, Northridge in 2014. She teaches in the Communication Studies and Special Education Departments. She is passionate about bringing disability justice to classrooms and other parts of the university. As a neurodivergent person who was undiagnosed until their late-30s, she believes disability justice could help many students who might also not have access to diagnoses. Her research interests include critical university studies, queer studies, and disability studies. She hopes for a less neo-liberal, more care-oriented universities.
