Dr. Katherine Lorenz (she/her) is an Associate Professor of Criminology and Justice Studies at California State University, Northridge. She is a sexual violence researcher focusing on survivors’ help-seeking and support from informal and formal sources, including navigating institutions like Title IX, the police, and their workplaces. Dr. Lorenz teaches undergraduate courses in Victimology, Domestic Violence, and Applied Research Methods. She engages the community though sexual and domestic violence advocacy, activism, and education.
