Brief Biography
I was raised in the San Fernando Valley and earned both my degrees--a bachelor of arts degree (Psychology) and master's of science degree (Educational Psychology & Counseling) from CSUN. My master's degree has an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and I hold active credentials as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of California. Currently, I am a licensed clinical therapist and own a private practice that provides mental health services to adults who have experienced trauma. I have extensive experience in working in non-profits providing mental health to the 0-5 population and as a mental health consultant for the Child Care Resource Center. I enjoy teaching and mentoring undergraduate students.
