Brief Biography

Kamran zamanifar received his BS and MS from the University of Tehran in electronics engineering. He got his Ph.D in parallel and distributed systems form University of Leeds in UK. He is a former professor at University of Isfahan at the software engineering department.
Expert computer science university professor with more than 24 years of experience teaching and research at the university level. Distinguished record of publication in prestige academic journals all over the world. Commitment to helping university students develop their full potential in their studies. Accept the responsibility of being a supervisor for master and doctoral students. Ability to accept the management of research projects. Strong philosophy of teaching, and knowledge of many different methods to motivate students to develop their expertise in specific areas. Dedicated partner to university programs and outreach events that help promote learning and support the community.
His research interests are in big data, Internet of things, parallel processing, distributed systems, cloud computing, pervasive computing, embedded systems and soft computing. He has published more that 60 papers in prestigious international journals. He has published numerous books on parallel programming, operating systems, and parallel and evolutionary algorithms. His citations (google scholar) is 1539, h-index is 20 and ih-index is 42.
