Henry Douglas Tran
Lecturer
Brief Biography
Call me "Hank." I have taught for over 24 years at the community college and university levels in the disciplines of Business. I did my early studies in a French school in Tokyo, and some graduate studies in England. I am fluent in Japanese and French. As an extra-curricular activity, I coached high school and junior college basketball and baseball for 25 years, being lucky enough to have won a couple of CIF titles and a state championship. I also published six books on sports and also have a passion for photography.
I have been at CSUN since the Fall of 2015 and had served as an advisor to the Rho Delta chapter of the Kappa Sigma fraternity.
Often I can be spotted photographing sport events at CSUN. My photos are occasionally being used on the athletics website.
It is great to be a Matador!
