Brief Biography
Desiree Duong was born, raised, and forever rooted in Los Angeles, California. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Deaf Studies: ASL literature at Cal State University, Northridge, and a Master's in Sign Language Education at Gallaudet University. She has been teaching at CSUN since 2016. She enjoys teaching American Sign Language (ASL) 1 & 2 courses and watching her students bloom! During her free time, she enjoys exploring places with her partner and their pup in order to disconnect from reality. Lastly, her favorite drink is a matcha latte.
