Brief Biography
Christine Firkins has been teaching for the Deaf Studies department since 2008. She received her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at California State University, Northridge. Christine also has her master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Communications, Deaf Studies, and Linguistics and a Single Subject Teaching Credential in American Sign Language from California State University, Northridge. Christine enjoys baking, reading, working out, and spending time with her family.
